At CB4 our Sales Engineers act as the critical bridge between the sales team and our customer success team. As a member of the team, you will spend your time helping Account Executives understand product/prospect fit, conduct ad hoc analyses, leading technical implementation with new clients, and learning cool facts about space from co-workers. Sales Engineers are members of our Professional Services team which is responsible for helping prospects move from presales to bonafide business as usual clients. Often this will require multi-month pilots with partners, where you will help them to get comfortable with our program benefits and methodologies before signing 1000+ store up sells.
Successful candidates will be comfortable in a wide variety of situations ranging from explaining requirements to client analysts all the way through presenting program results to C-Suite executives at the worlds largest retailers. In addition to client facing activity, a successful Sales Engineer will be excited to work on cross-functional teams building tools and collateral. Candidates should be experts at identifying technical risk and should be proactive in resolving them.
1-2 Years experience working with Object Oriented Code
1-2 Years of hands on experience using SQL
Strong analytical / mathematic problem solving skills
Comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
